The information on this page is for:
- students joining us for the first time in 2024/25
- students progressing onto a new course at a different level (for example from our Foundation Diploma in Art and Design onto an undergraduate course)
If you're a returning student who already has a Student ID card, you don't need to collect a new one. If your Student ID card is lost, expired or faulty, contact the Student Centre at your College or Institute for guidance.
What to bring
When you arrive to collect your ID card, you’ll be asked to show your student ID number and an email confirming that you've completed online registration, that you’re enrolled, or you've started your enrolment.
The subject line will be either:
- You have completed your online registration, or
- You are conditionally enrolled, or
- You are enrolled.
If you can't find the email you need, each College and Institute has contact information listed below.

If you are having difficulties completing online registration and require face-to-face assistance, you can visit our enrolment helpdesks available at our ID card collection points. Find further details about the helpdesks and support email addresses for your College or Institute below.
